Server

HP MediaSmart Server with, 2Gb RAM, 4 x 500Gb HDD for a total of 2 Tb storage capacity!

Server Details:

2Gb RAM Upgrade, Server ships with 512MB of RAM - Box is not designed for user-upgrades, but RAM upgrade instructions available here.

Storage: I bought the HP MediaSmart Server (MSS) ex 470, which comes stock with 1 x 500Gb HDD. I then added 3 x 500Gb HDDs for a total of 2 Tb of storage. Currently using the MSS for nightly backups of 4 PCs and for duplicated storage of music, video, and pictures. Pulls together iTunes music from every user and PC in the house into a centralized location that can then be used by all.

3.0 Ghz Pentium D processor, 4 Gb Dual Channel RAM, 3 x 150 Gb WD Raptor 10,000rpm HDDs (1 for OS and 2 for Applications and Data. nVidia 8500 GT Graphics Card supporting Dual LCD Monitors (19" and 22")
